The past tense of the verb to be is not conjugated as follows:
I was
you was
it was
we was
you was
they was
If you did not win the game, you are not a looser, unless winning the game involves tightening something.
If you could care less that means that you do care to some degree.
It's all intents and purposes not "all intensive purposes."
If it ain't broke, it must be solvent.
What's up with "what up?"
The word ridiculous does not have an "e" in it.
If you pour over your books, you might get them wet.
If you are waiting with baited breath, one wonders if you've been eating night crawlers.
