If they did not coexist and we assume the train is built for them because it fits them ....an egregious assumption but let's roll with this one ...pun intended....then the dinosaur perhaps built the train knowing it was about to be replaced by humans. Or perhaps aliens did it ...which is really just another way of saying a external or internally unobserved and unaccounted for variable contributed to causation but not the current set of observable correlations. A third possibility exists that the people who made the train also made the dinosaur...ala something like Jurassic Park.
